The most accessed cases
Each year, the ADM Casoteca will recognize the most accessed case on the platform and will tell a little more about the "behind the scenes" of the most popular case of the year. Authors will receive a certificate.
2022: Streaming Video Consumers: What Is Most Valuable to Them?
This case, authored by Ana Luisa da Camino Monclair, Bruno Saboya and Helena Araújo Costa, was the first of the Casoteca ADM to be born from an undergraduate monograph defended in the Department of Administration of UnB. Ana Luisa's final work was supervised by Professor Bruno Saboya in 2021. The theme drew attention for the role of video streaming during the pandemic and the interest that Adm students show in these brands. Professor Helena participated in the panel and saw great potential in the work. Thus, he made a proposal for a teaching case. Here is a great example of how a high-quality academic research work can be transformed into a highly stimulating pegadic instrument, strengthening the research-teaching-extension bridge.
2021: The Entertainment and Leisure Empire: How Can Cirque du Soleil Face the Post-Covid Future?
This case was born from a final work of the discipline Contemporary Topics in Adm 2, taught by Professor Helena Costa in 2020. The students were advised to analyze the situation of Cirque du Soleil's bankruptcy filing, seeking to identify what led to this situation, which occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. They received inputs of information, reports and some guiding questions. From the presentations and reports produced, the two groups of the class came together to write, together with the teacher, the case that you find in the ADM Casoteca.
